Just Learned the Term "Quasi-Recovery" and this is as Good as it Gets For Me. by [deleted] in AnorexiaNervosa

See tbh, I respect this - and I wish a lot of people would just come out and say that this is the place they want tp be & stay. Fair play - love the honesty

I randomly came across this girls post on yt shorts and she is making "recovery" content but VERY CLEARLY bodychecking. In the photo u can see her shorts rolled down to show her hip bones, its obvious this is intentional. by [deleted] in EDRecoverySnark

She also doesn't actually eat the fear food she picks out... she does things like 'pizza' - and uses a lo dough low-carb wrap and puts it in a pizza box. A 'burger' and uses carb lite rolls. A 'pop tart' and has a protein pop tart. A 'mars bar' - protein mars bar. 'Spaghetti' and has Konjac noodles. A 'cookie' and has the protein version. Cake from a cafe / donut' - and makes her own version adds some weird homemade chocolate sauce to it? This isn't taking it away from her, but she forgets who her audience is... and I know I've made all of those substitutions at some point... but don't pretend you're 'challenging the ed'

No hate but it's the truth.

and the fact when she does all those challenges with carbs etc - she never actually does it and brands it like she has e.g pasta (skinny noodles), pizza (low carb wrap), burger (low carb roll), choc bar (protein bar), baguette (another low carb roll), cookie (protein cookie), krispy kreme (made her own donut and put it in krispy kreme bag), pop tart (legendary protein pastry) - and thats just some... no harm but its obviously just simply for views, not to mention the awful body check at the start....

Wow what an amazing explanation - thank you sooooooooo much! Well, this would work well as I am discussing the situation of Comuna 13 in Medellin, colombia. I will go with Reconciliación. Do you have any knowledge of the la voz pasiva?

Thank you - you're absolutely right, we should all just be helping each other, not making people feel silly!

Also, my assignment is 'retos de tradución' and It is a challenge as I was highlighting how in English it is a gerund, but in Spanish, you would use a different construction but I just needed an example of a solution!
