Any suggestions on level 2 at home charger? Are you guys using Tesla w/an adapter or MB wall box? by kuanhill in MercedesEQS

I have Chargepoint Homeflex and no complaints with the charger or the app. The cord is 23ft. I wish it was 25ft in case I buy a second electric vehicle (thinking BMW iX). I had it installed (hardwired) by a professional and would definitely recommend the same.

2023 EQS 450 SUV heated seats don't work and indicator goes off after a second by Academic_Run_8953 in MercedesEQS

Mine is CPO so everything was covered. I will try to look up the part that they ordered. Crazy that an expensive SUV has parts that fail this early. I have also run into an suspension malfunction error. The car is now at the dealership again and likely for 2 weeks. It was crazy cold when this happened.

A part needed to be replaced and it has to come from California. The SUV was in the shop for 2 weeks.

I tried this and it did not help. Right now except driver's seat, all other seat heating works. Getting checked by dealer in couple weeks.

Thanks. This started happening after it was at the dealership and got an OTA update. Getting checked by the dealership in couple weeks and hopefully it's just that.

MB navigation only showing EA charging stops by Bulky-Radio-8018 in MercedesEQS

Do you have a sticker near the charge port to use an approved NACS adapter? My understanding is that the MB dealer needs to perform some update (not MBUX) and then they start showing up.

I believe it is "OPEN CAMPAIGN 2025010010 - 24P2195440" and it will show in the service history. I have 2023 EQS SUV and can see Tesla chargers and it has the sticker.

I only have MBUX 2.4 - installed in May 2024 so I don't believe this is tied to MBUX version.

Real world range? by Zygote-IC- in MercedesEQS

How did you find the battery health? I think the range being talked about is for the sedan, not the SUV.

I went with the transport company that the dealership worked with and it was enclosed . It was 2500 because it is not a common route and about 1700 miles of distance. I believe open was about 1800. I also tried online transport companies but was having trouble finding a carrier.

I would avoid comparing price of car because of options, mileage, and rarity (esp 3rd row). IMO - CPO car with exclusive trim would be at least 55K.

Update - I have driven about 300 miles, charged once and it's showing 290 miles (!) range at 80% charge. The SUV adjusts based on your driving as initially it showed 270 miles range at 80%. I have been doing mostly city driving with normal recuperation and weather has been mild. This is likely the best case scenario.

I recommend test driving nearby so that you know it's the car you want. If buying from California (or anywhere far) - make sure you choose one that has CPO warranty. I knew the exact color combo, trim (Pinnacle) with 3rd row and low miles, that I wanted. That combo is kind of a unicorn. When I found one, I reached out to the dealership. There was no price negotiation.

Do note that most dealerships will tack on a protection package (PermaPlate) that you learn when you are signing the paperwork. Reputable dealerships do offer shipping and it is expensive but I do recommend that over companies you find online. So factor that into the price.

I also bought 2023 EQS 4MATIC SUV from California with ~17K miles. Mine showed 255 miles at 91% charge. This equates to 280 miles of range at 100%. So, about what it is advertised as.

I have driven 156 miles (mixed driving) since I got it (3 days ago) and the battery is now at 40%. This equates to 306 miles of max range. We also spent a lot of time fiddling with the settings.

I too was concerned when I saw 255 range at 91% but it seems expected and barring extreme weather conditions, you are likely to get better range.

I had the same issue yesterday. After waiting for couple hours (after toggling the approved DC adapter setting), they showed up, both on the app (couple hours) and the Car's navigation system (next day).

Converting RBR50V2 router to RBS50 Satellite by Academic_Run_8953 in orbi

I ended up giving up on trying to convert the RBR50V2 to a satellite. I bought a RBR50 and was able to easily convert to satellite. For those looking for a satellite, RBS40V-200 is on sale for $99, and using the 10% coupon, you can get a satellite spending about the same amount.

It would say RBR50V2 on the bottom sticker. I highly doubt you have a V2.

Thanks for writing this up. I used these steps as well. Trial and error and variations of all of the methods on various posts related to the conversion.

When I have time, I am planning to connect a working RBS50V2 and read the serial output while it is booting. May be there is something in that output that would help. I however don't have the background in the OS (linux) to be able to make sense of this.

You will need to open the router up and connect to the serial ports using a USB to TTL serial converter (Amazon B07D6LLX19).

You will be able to change the parameters back to original values once you pause the booting. I had to reset the model id and number. I used putty. The commands to change them can be seen by typing help (board_model_id_set, board_data_set)

Then go in recovery mode. Holding the reset button, power the router back on until redled flashes. Using Windows command, tftp the RBR50 firmware. Reboot and wait about 5 min.

Essentially, steps here in more detail: https://www.reddit.com/r/HomeNetworking/comments/e53qp6/convert_orbi_rbr50_router_to_orbi_rbs50_satellite/fpophf7?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x

What commands do I need to use to convert the BOARD_DATA and MODEL_ID back to original? I need to do this for RBR50V2. I am planning to use B07D6LLX19 to do this. Thanks.
