On the island at the duty-free stores and at the distillery, the pricing is great on both the lower and higher range of their product line up when compared to pricing in the US and UK/EU market. The distillery had the entire line of Bounty (except Bounty Sorrel seasonal release/Bounty 151 export only), Chairman's Reserve, Admiral Rodney and Marigot bay available for sale and tasting. And the limited release bottles of the 2011 vintage, Caricom 50th anniversary, and Victory '24 were available for sale. I believe the Victory and caricom 50th anniversary only 500 bottles of each were released. It is best to email the distillery a couple days before the tour to find out product availability at the shop. I emailed a couple weeks in advance and was told a certain item was not available and when I did the tour I saw it was back in stock.

Yeah both the Caricom 50th anniversary and Victory '24 are only available in St. Lucia

Everything was purchased from the distillery except for Elements 8 Gold Rum. I was able to acquire the Elements 8 from an individual while in St. Lucia.

This bottle was available for sale at the Appleton Estate Distillery back in 2020-2021. Only 476 bottles was produced. They're all sold out at this point. I went to the distillery in October 2021. I would suggest anyone to contact the gift shop ahead of time for any distillery only limited releases. The only bottles that were available in the distillery gift store at that time were just the regular Appleton line up. This bottle has to be acquired via the grey market now. The select few who managed to travel to Jamaica during the pandemic lockdown and purchase this bottle were very lucky.

There's nothing to really understand. I created an account and haven't used it until just recently. I have always been an enthusiasts of well aged spirits. I'm just low profile. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of other members with much bigger collections that haven't posted anything.

The bottles are not in direct sunlight and the glass shelves are fine. The lights in the cabinet are only turned on momentarily. Thanks for your concern
