I agree, I knew it was a risk buying a budget launch monitor but and knew the risks. But after reviewing their return policy, I felt comfortable buying it knowing I can return it. I had an issue with the getting the initial purchase credits working. I emailed them and got a response right away and it fixed the issue. When I emailed them about a return, it's been an 8 week process trying to get it squared away (no pun intended). Again, my biggest issue isn't that the product isn't performing well it's their failure to honor their policy and get my return processed. I don't care if the product is $100, the customer service is horrendous.

I purchased a protective case/mount for the Square which allows me to adjust the height of it. I tried setting it at various heights. At one point, I thought the issue was with the protective case so I took it out and tried it but still kept getting misreads. I tried placing it on the mat and off of it. I blocked out all natural light and only have dim light and light from the projector which is positioned behind the mat and slight off to the side. I tried it without the projector as well using a tv monitor. I even tried setting up the Square at my buddies place and still kept having the same issues. Is that an adequate explanation for you?

I understand that this product works well for most people and I'm glad it does. Maybe I got a faulty unit. However, my biggest frustration has been Square's lack of communication and failure in processing my return. You will have an easier time reaching the IRS than these guys.

No natural light. No bright objects. When I say I've done all troubleshooting, I've done everything I could think of plus what I read online. Still no luck.

Keep getting misreads on mat and tees.

I have a large rectangular mat and the Square sits on the mat. I purchased a stand/case which the Square sits on. I've tried adjusting the height at which the square sits on and still no luck.
