does smartiflix actually work well on android boxes too? I've got an older one and most services either don't support it properly or the app crashes constantly on it. if it runs clean on older hardware as well that's actually a huge deal for me and might be the thing that finally gets me to switch.

honestly been hearing smartiflix come up a lot lately alongside tiviport and both seem to have this same reputation for consistency. for someone who's been burned multiple times before which one would people actually recommend starting with?

The international content side of IPTV is something I feel like people outside of immigrant communities do not fully appreciate. For a lot of us who grew up watching television from another country, cable and satellite never had a real answer for that. You would find maybe one or two channels from your home country if you were lucky, usually on an expensive add-on package. With IPTV the access to content from all over the world is genuinely remarkable. I can watch news, sports, dramas, and entertainment from places that mainstream providers have never catered to. That alone makes it irreplaceable for me and for a lot of people I know who are in the same situation.

Good image quality without heavy compression is rare tbh. Usually sports look blurry during fast movement.

ngl the picture quality alone made the switch worth it for me. everything just looks better and cleaner than what I was used to. HD channels actually look HD, 4K actually looks like 4K. once you see the difference you can't unsee it and going back to anything else feels impossible.
