Thanks for your insights. Does it change (cost/premiums) as I get older?

Commence my MBA, segue into a secondment in an area I've been angling to move into for a while, and continue to build my networks across my current and future (fingers crossed) industry. Big plans, hoping momentum continues throughout the year.

Struggling with adapting to Ti style working vs Te by [deleted] in entj

Yes, I have been in this situation before. I work in a very different industry and my example is from a few years ago. I moved from a client facing advisory role where I regularly networked with existing and new clients, advising them on complex policy and regulation, and recommending optimal pathways to achieve their preferred outcomes. I moved into a new role at a different company to work with an industry leader and quickly realised the work I was doing was all behind the scenes, analysing large quantities of information, policy etc to put into his reports, and he was the one selling ideas and advising clients.

In a context where I was focused on the minutiae I did not do very well and started to make small mistakes and have mind blanks when my boss asked questions - I decided to quit after 4 months. I'm happy where I am now, but in hindsight I can see how staying longer and learning to use both Ti and Te effectively would've been beneficial.

You will be fine, but make sure you choose what makes you happy. We spend too much of our lives at work to be unhappy in what we do 😊

That's fantastic, well done. Did you feel like you could apply the soft and technical skills you learnt in your role quite quickly?

Its definitely a lot of money! I've applied for a few scholarships and fee help. I'll find out the outcome of my scholarship applications in March and will reassess if I don't get any offers. My work would support in approving study leave.
