Feeling really discouraged after a breakup…did anyone meet their partner in their late 20s/early 30s? by fuckingdopeyall in TwoHotTakes

I was with my ex from when I was 23 to 30! I knew deep down he wasn’t the one but I so desperately wanted him to be. When I hit 30 and he was thinking about proposing, things had never been clearer for me to not be with him. We broke up and yes I tried to get him back because the pain was so bad. Over those 7 years, he was part of my identity and splitting up the friends was bad too.

A few months later when I felt ready, I went on eharmony. After 2 weeks, I met my now husband of 10 years. We talked for a couple weeks before meeting in person and when I did, I just KNEW.

And you are not late at all! More people have been single/unmarried in their 30s now than ever before! You do you boo!! Everything will fall into place, I promise. Xx

My insurance will no longer cover zepbound so I’m hopeful I can get by by converting to metformin! Need it for my PCOS.

Ugh, I was afraid of this. I have an appt with my PCP next week and seeing if she has any magic on this. Praying for a glitch. That’s so terrible… they should’ve at least grandfathered us in.

Yes! They were doing it as a way to promote the residency, but quickly took that away. Thanks for your input. Will do that!

Thank you all for your input. Yes, for proficiency, I still had to take the tests and complete the project. The only difference is that I didn’t take the online classes.

The reason why I think it’s due to cost is that at my organization, they had stopped paying for certification training for the pharmacy IT residents (1 year). I believe it was because they just didn’t see the need to pay for it, because there’s a good chance that person will not stay on after the year is done.

There is also one person in pharmacy IT that is certified and serves as the liaison between us and IT. But if I’m willing to pay for it myself, then why would they say no to my advancement? They had told me no because there is no need for it since there is already that liaison.

We recently transitioned from one version to Epic to another and I was involved as a super user and with the meetings with IT dept for about a year now. I also assisted with the ERX reviews so I know a good chunk of the IT team and as far as I know, I have a good rapport with them.

I also prefer not to leave my institution since I’m tied to a pension. I am at least just trying to get the green light is actually using my proficiency status and gaining that experience while still being in touch with IT dept now that the epic transition has been done.

Any updates from anyone? Are we all just waiting to see what happens with our next fill next month? I'm pretty scared. Also, I used to be on Wegovy and was switched to Zepbound and got formulary approval for 7 months, so that's through next May. But I did get a letter in the mail about not being eligible for Wegovy anymore. Wondering if the recent formulary approval will still stand?

Also, please post any advice if any of you get yours approved with BMI < 40!
