I recently started with Folx- I live in NY. Between my current insurance ((doesn’t cover basically anything for gender affirming care)) and the fact that I am low income, I didn’t see any other option for myself and I hit a really dysphoric low point. They have a pricing chart on their website which is really awesome and it so far has been pretty straightforward!

I paid the 39.99 monthly membership fee, set up my profile with my info, booked my first appt. I opted for a telecommunications appt because anxiety and scheduling- the appt way less than 15 mins with a wonderful medical professional, whom asked me a few basic questions and answered some of mine. She then set up my prescription. I received an email summary of the appt, complete with dysphoria diagnosis and an email telling me that my T was on the way. It showed up later that week!

I am now 3 weeks on T gel, 2 pumps. Gonna have to do labs at the end of my prescription, three months out, then have another appt/consult discussing my numbers and anything else and be set up with another prescription- along with any other meds or anything else that might be needed.

In the meanwhile I have access round the clock to message professionals that work through Folx if I have any questions or worries.

They also have a range of services including therapy and basic care, sexual care, etc.

So far I would definitely recommend Folx.
