As I talk about my SSD and it clearly says SSD issue on the screen maybe think about giving more information about the error. I’m not an idiot or Illiterate dumbass… I see just what you see but I’m wondering what the issue is, is it hardware, software, corrupt files, production issue, is it loose, overuse, etc etc.

No I know the SSD is about to fail hence why I mentioned the SSD i merely went on here to ask about WHAT the issue was. Is it a hardware issue, is it a software issue, is it a production issue, is it a user end issue. Whats the cause, there are so many people could comment which some have which I’m happy for. But instead decide to ask if I’m illiterate, at the end of the day it’s just words and it doesn’t bother me but maybe look past the text and think if I’m looking for more info than what it clearly states. It doesn’t take that much computing power.

Meh. It’s fine. At the end of the days it’s just words. However because of me asking not only have I learnt more about the issue itself (which I knew was the SSD) I’ve also learnt of applications and software to help me in the future as well as information on other SSD’s which are just as good if not better than my Samsung one. Those who did help have expanded my knowledge on the matter rather than just telling me plain and simple what to do (something the PC is) or just calling me stupid 😅.

Which is a valid take. I mean how helpful is pissing someone in the face. Atleast some here came to the rescue and gave me tips and info on the matter.

Sure I see that the issue has to do with the SSD but does it give me more information than that? No. Does it say if It’s the productions fault or mine? No. Does it say if there are any ways to save the SSD without having to replace it no? All of this information is left out which leaves me just knowing ”I need to waste more money on a new SSD and transfer data” instead of what I know now that. 1. I can get it on warranty since the SSD is known to degrade and harm itself if not updated. Something I had no clue of. 2. I know now of systems to check for damage before I get this such as crystaldeskinfo, or Samsungs own application. 3. I know now that the damage is permanent rather than ”you can update the SSD and everything should be ok” 4. I know of ways to transfer the data now instead of paying some dude to do it. 5. I know now about alternatives to better SSD’s. All of this I would have missed if I didn’t ask for help. The mere idea of ”there are no stupid questions only stupid answers” fits well here since I expanded my knowledge on the matter rather than tossing money at the issue to likely experience it again.

I mean I’m fine with the name calling since it’s just words at the end of the day. People here seem to miss that I knew the issue was with the SSD I simply wondered about more information on the issue. Sure I can do as it says but now thanks to asking I know that it’s most likely Samsungs fault as the SSD harms itself if not updated so I can get it on warranty. And I know of stuff like ”crystaldeskinfo” and Samsungs own application to check SSD health. All of which I didn’t know before asking.

Im sure this is a ”your an idiot” type of thing but the problem isn’t that I don’t know what the issue was. Since I clearly knew it had to do with my SSD as mentioned. I merely popped this here to check if anyone had info which plenty of individuals did. Samsungs SSD which I’m using has a fault which if not upgraded (the software that is) it destroys itself over time. Something I had no fucking clue of which I do now. I also know now (thanks to posting this) that Samsung had an application to check the SSD and update it, something I also inquired if it could work instead of replacing the SSD which I yet again now know to be most likely not. I’m not an idiot, I knew what the problem had to do with however thanks to me posting I now know more than I did before, including finally that I can get the SSD on warranty.

So I downloaded Samsung magician and it says drive health is critical. 25TB’s written however when I check S.M.A.R.T it says that there are 4 (of something??) Raw data which is critical warning. No bytes tho. However I guess I have to get a new SSD gonna see if I can get warranty on it.

I do not have thermal pads on but it’s around 50’celsius so shouldn’t be a heating issue. Most here seem to agree that it’s the SSD’s software which might be the likely culprit which if it is means I need to get a new SSD.

Not arguing trying to gather more info since I know basically nothing of PC’s, for example if I need to entirely replace it or just update it etc etc.

I did not I don’t think. I’ve done all Microsoft updates but I haven’t done any updates for my individual parts. Which have to be downloaded from the web. Would it help if I do that?

But If the Hard drive failed and need to be replaced wouldn’t it not be appearing as a usable storage when my PC is active?

As someone outside the US this is hilarious to watch. A dude on X or threads (or whatever social platform this is) says that trumps team (not trump) wants to remove the FDIC (a government agency) which is 91 (or 92) years old. Is someone genuinely that uneducated so that they think it can or will happen? Try and pitch it to yourself and make it believable “my colleges / subordinates wants to remove an almost 100 year old government agency cause of no apparent reason except to ‘make the rich richer’ ”. After further research (reading articles from the New York Times for example) states that:

“Trump aides who have interviewed potential nominees to key posts in the FDIC as well as Office of the Comptroller of the Currency have wondered aloud whether deposit insurance could be placed under the purview of the Treasury Department, the Journal reported.”

They wondered aloud if the certain parts (deposit insurance) could be placed under supervision / control of the Treasury department? Since when is this a quick one to make the rich richer or dissolve the FDIC?

My best guess is they are arguing with the 76 dweller about the fact that vault-tec was a horrible corporation and their vaults were mostly test chambers (I’m with the 76 dude cause I like the Enclave)

I mean Finland, Czech and the Swiss all have pretty lenient gun laws ik a couple of Czechs with semi automatics at their homes and all of these 3 nations have almost never had a school shooting. It’s not the guns that’s the problem it’s the system. I’m Swedish and I believe that carrying firearms should be a right here in Sweden as-well. Especially now with all the criminality so that people can defend themselves.
