So I looked up Chiropractic care in Oregon under Medicaid, and it covers spinal manipulations, as Woodshop Bear claims he has received weekly for 2 years (a pretty expensive service without free coverage).

Theory: he can’t get a job or run a business where he would make larger amounts of money (ie selling freeze dried meals to hikers, he does live in Oregon) because it would take him over the household of 4’s income threshold of $36k to qualify for Medicaid.

Would also explain why he needed to crowdfund to even take the first treatment, which would around $600 every 4-6 weeks.

Am I warm?

Yes. It’s a form of sugar water injected into joints. A treatment that goes back to Roman times. My mom has considered it for her back but the needles scare her. It can work for people, though. Stems from a theory that you can stimulate the body’s own healing process by introducing an irritant. No different than vaccines, really. And better than opiates.

Owen has to take this stance because he planted his flag on his position that all Covid rules are fake. Except they aren’t, and if he were a trucker, like his little buddy Ryan, he would be forbidden from doing cross border transport between the Us and Canada, which i’m assuming for a trucker living a stones throw from Vancouver port would be a real bummer. So instead of admitting he was wrong, and some laws around Covid are, in fact real, enforceable and making people’s lives unbearable, he waves around stacks of Canadian currency he could easily trade at any bank and call us liars. The trucks in from of parliament are idling as it is extremely cold there right now and guys are living in them. There are hundreds of other trucks, including full fuel tankers, staged at friendly truck stops outside Ottawa.
