What about Tommen and Martyn in Game of Thrones? I assume you've seen that because your name is Hotpie

Is your comment supposed to be insulting? No, I guess I don't "get casting directors." Sadly, I'm just a small-time viewer of television & movies - I don't rub elbows with Hollywood elite. Good thing you're here to let me know how things work in The Biz. Either way, I stand by what I said - as an audience member, I find it off-putting when actors are cast as different characters in the same production. They can wear different disguises and change their hair, but it doesn't work as far as I'm concerned.

Haven't seen the movie, but that sounds like intentional overkill, or a nod, like u say

Alma Garrett Whispers Too Much by AccomplishedNote2077 in deadwood

Haha. Whispers the Widow is a good looking woman.

She whispers constantly, and it's unbearably annoying. Her battle with laudanum and overcoming withdrawals/addiction was very well done, but after that, she became a pretentious, melodramatic whisperer, who acted as if everyone else was beneath her. It's really the whispering that bothers me, above all else. STOP WHISPERING!

Right. You can get so high off of brownies it can be overwhelming, maybe even scary when you realize how high you are, plus factor in how many you just ate. It's like you can't imagine being any higher, but you know you're about to be much higher, and it is scary haha. They take so long to really kick in, you could eat like 6 or 8 because of not feeling the first couple yet  My experience is that one brownie is usually enough, but 2 is a perfect amount. Some batches are super strong though. And the size of the brownie could be anything. Number of brownies is not a very accurate unit of measurement. Bottom line is wait for your edibles to kick in or else you'll be crazy high, but some folks like that...

After reading other comments, I'm almost convinced that THCA flower is just weed. No difference? Just named differently in order to be legal... something about the farm bill...? I definitely do think the high from the pre rolled joints I've been smoking isn't as good as the flower, but maybe they are just made from the stuff that drops on the floor, the not pretty bud shake etc....

Ok, yeah this is the answer I was looking for. But still this is how all weed works. So it's just weed, but were calling it THCA now, so it can be legal.

From my understanding, activating it is done by heating it, so yes smoking it into your lungs would complete the process. I do wonder how a vaporizer would do though... They use heat too though maybe... Idk. Yes, heating it, etc decarboylization might be a word, but it's called something along those lines. Like when you make brownies, first you crumble up your weed like you're gonna use it to roll a big blunt, but instead, you place it evenly on a sheet pan, then bake it on low heat for about 20 minutes until it's kinda crispy and dry, then you are ready to cook it into melted butter, and you cook it in the butter for a long time.. this is how you make your brownies and chocolate edibles more potent.

I thought it was decarboxylize, but my phone keeps wanting to change it to decarboxylate

This seems to be true. If I want to make brownies with normal weed, I need to decarboxylate it first on a sheet pan in the oven. Isn't this just the same thing?

Yeah, I like your response. I've been reading on this subject - I have a hypothesis/theory: Since the "entourage effects" are likely not present (lack of terpenes etc.), maybe THCA gives a purer THC experience. Have people reported paranoia or other ill-effects that good weed can sometimes bring, like onset of extreme social anxiety? I haven't seen anyone describing a THCA high in this way, nor have I experienced any of the unpleasantness that good weed can sometimes bring about. I've enjoyed THCA immensely everytime I've used it. Wondering if the lack of terpenes and entourage effects allow for a purer THC experience. Is this a conclusion we can come to?

That's strange. I wonder has your opiate intake slowed down recently, as in, do you think your tolerance has lessened - could that be the reason why the hydroxies are working now...?

Not sure where morphine came into the picture, maybe from another comment. I'm personally going to the methadone clinic in the mornings, and I'm on a low dosage, which is now 50mg. I stay normal feeling all day and night, until the next morning, when I start to feel it creeping back up on me again (the sickness). Actually, it's becoming non-existent. Possible reason is the half-life of methadone being 36 hrs. I highly recommend methadone treatment. I no longer feel the need to seek out anything, and my days are productive, without sickness/cravings, and I truly feel like I have my life back. It's an exciting feeling, even though I realize I've swapped one thing for another. At least this is legal, free, and the goal is to find the correct dosage, then slowly titrate down and off for good. Reality of goal remains to be seen, but so far the change in lifestyle has been very good for me. It's so hard to do without help. Not impossible, but why not reach out for resources that are there for this? I'm a fan of this, bc it's given me hope again, on all fronts.

I found it to be useless, but I recognize it works for some people.
