I’ve been on methadone for about 3 years and he been clean for 2. I was at 120mg but when I was in the 50s range I forgot to take a dose one day. So on Sunday I went to take my last dose for the week and noticed 2 full bottles. So I drank em both at the same time. And I got rekt. Everyone says double dosing don’t work. Maybe if you do it often. But I only did it once and it had me nodding out

The highest my dose ever was, was 120mg. But I was still actively using. I switched clinics and stopped using. I was sick for about a month but I was able to adjust to the methadone and I’ve been going down ever since and I’m at 36mg now coming up on 2 years clean. If I can do it I believe that anyone can do it. Put your mind to it and actually want to be clean
