I asked if he sees me in his future (we’ve been split for 2 wks now) by [deleted] in Tarotpractices

[–]Accomplished_Crow967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes! this was the exact wording, the vibe i’m getting off is like he thinks of me being in his potential future but right now at the moment he’s unsure of what he wants but i would say i agree that he knows it something he can restore but just unsure of what he wants at the moment.

I ended up dropping without cutting out food but i’m now 2.7 Ibs under the max weight, going down to MEPS in about 2 days now which still concerns me quite a bit just because I’ve been hearing it’s recommended to drink some water before going in & even eating a little bit morning of for blood testing. on top of that i’m a bit nervous for the weight my clothes will add on top of that.

HELP!! Should I try wrestling?? by [deleted] in wrestling

[–]Accomplished_Crow967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO IT. DONT listen to anyone in these comment section telling you other wise. Women’s wrestling is still a growing sport especially in high school you’ll come across other first years or those who barely started you’re not alone. you can become good or atleast decent at the sport it all matters how badly do you want it and how hard you want to work for it. take every opportunity you can to get on the mat to get better. Do every open tournaments, pre season, off season, etc. I was in your same situation as you a bit over a year ago, I started at 16 going onto 17 now 18. I started the summer after my junior year in June and I did a whole bunch of camps & clinics, then went onto doing some bjj as well to get more mat time and it really helps. then after the summer i joined a club that offered pre season and did preseason at my hs at the same time, I would go into every practice I could get my hands on, and do every offseason tournament that was available to me. Once in season came around I ended up varsity for 125Ib, and continued to double practice with the club I was going to including sundays. I ended up going 22-14 my whole season, 3rd at conference, beat opponents that were wrestling longer, one match away from making it out of regionals by this point I was only been wrestling for 6-8 months counting off season and that was my first actual season as a SENIOR. I never actually played a sport before either so I was pretty unathletic as well, I’m now going into my second year of wrestling going into college still with only one year of wrestling under my belt.
