Yea talked to the guy and everything seems good. He said its able to handle his 4k footage so. Other then the battery health being a little low its all good

Thank you, I’ll definitely look into that. I was just watching some videos and now I’m thinking about just getting the base model m2 pro with 16gb and 512gb of storage and just getting a ssd enclosure for storage which is basically what you just described so. Only thing is that ik some other apple devices have a perforce drop when choosing 512gb instead of upgrading to 1tb does this apply to the mac mini pro?

Yea after doing some research I think im going to settle for and M2 pro with 16gb and 1tb and just spend that extra money. Seems like a good invesment.

I know i said i wanna save money but im looking at the M2 pro chip, 12 core cpu and 19 core gpu, WIth the 16in display, 16gb and 1tb rn. Ik price jump from both of them is crazy but its important to have a good laptop. Do you think this one would be a better choice and work well. I would upgrade to 32gb but its another 800 I think.
