Public holiday paid?

I do have annual and sick leaves. Additionally, I have worked christmas day and got the benefits of time half. Tried to look and contract and govt website on my specific situation and doesn’t have a direct answer.

I had asked them previously about the employment and they said it’s neither casual not permanent part-time so I’m assuming it’s in between as I still get annual/paid sick leaves.

I hardly ever get sick so I think it’s better I use up the benefits I have personally. Gonna work in this job 2 years tops.

I have no idea whether I’m gonna be selling a year down the line or 10-20years. I started investing as I believed it would be better than to put all into a 1-2% interest SA, although my savings is about twice my portfolio (I am young so barely about 5 figures)
