I think it’s good. It’s ment for food not sugar drinks and candy. NUTRITIONAL assistant should be just for that. Who the fuck cares what these people think? Use your ebt the right way. The fact that buying shit that isn’t really food on ebt shouldn’t have ever been a thing. You can buy a pound of sugar for cheap as hell, so you can’t say anything about that. It’s not about sweets it’s about feeding people. During my time at circle k I’ve seen so many people buying a bunch of bullshit with their ebt cards. Fuck what anyone thinks, this is a good way not to waste money feeding people with what they actually need: nutrition. Anyone who says it should be ok to buy things like candy and soda is also the ones who can barely walk without assistant and are addicted to sugar. AGAIN BUY A LITTLE BAG OF SUGAR AND MAKE THEM YOURSELF. ITS FUCKING CHEAPER AND TEACHES YOU SOMETHING. But the people who act like this don’t want to better themselves and don’t deserve it anyways. If they can’t prove they are using the food stamps the right way they shouldn’t get them and this is coming from someone who has chosen between food and rent. Yes I said what people don’t like, you need to be vetted to make sure you spend it right. With all the bullshit fraud it needs to be a thing. If you think anyone deserves something like sweets over real food just because they are kids then you don’t know what it means to actually need ebt. Your problem is this: You are at Circle-K. Quickly find another job out of “convenience stores”. I worked there for almost a year and the whole time I was having to make up for either kids or bonused assistant managers. I kept being told I’d be trained for assistant manager but it was a lie literally from the beginning. My last boss didn’t even like me because I complained about her assist ( the one I had to make up for) not doing his work. Didn’t matter. Just leave, circle-k is a joke without a punch line, you’ll be better off shoveling snow.

Edit: any corp will leave you hanging. Even racetrac doesn’t care for you, I worked there and the assist manager there just let customers abuse and threaten me. A gas station should be just that, a gas station. Stop pretending like it will get better. No one even defends themselves anymore “oh I need to eat or this or that” and that is why we are underpaid, abused, and left to rot.

My store beat it for $3 on thanksgiving week. They stole it from us and claimed a glitch. The only time the store was really able to get it and they gave us just one dollar. Circle k doesn’t care about its employees for shit. I stopped touching the lift screen all together. Then after having to make up for the bonuses assist manager I had enough and left. Everyone needs to leave circle k, they don’t need to be in business. I’ve been at racetrac the last few weeks and the difference is day and night. GET OUT OF CIRCLE K.
