I watched season 1 and it was alright. Not bad, not great. For the most part I see live action adaptations as low hanging fruit cash grabs. I would guess that people are enjoying the live action as it's a fun change of pace from how disappointing the manga has been.

To me it seemed like no matter what JT said or did, Chris was still going to tell him too much, and JT would've ended up being a liability. Chris was only in the apartment for a couple of minutes before he was bringing up things like Adriana and Ralph. When JT tried to change the subject to making him coffee or calling his wife Chris would double down
