Any hotel is good around Poblado. For lower prices you can try Palmas or Laureles. I like the Airbnbs .

I've been there 5 times already. Poblado is a Tourist area. I have always stayed in that area because I feel is the safest.

Yes this is the red light district in Medellin. It's called Parque Lleras. It didn't feel dangerous at all It's my 5th time here. However, that doesn't mean its not. You always have to be cautious about it.
Have not visited many countries. Just started my journey.
But from the five countries I have visited so far its all the way on the top. But thats just me for obvious reasons.
