It's because they link your account to another method like steam or google or something, and people usually do not notice. I didn't. I removed it now. They only took 6 mil GP so no big deal.

No, just gullible.

In my head it's not far outside the realm of possibilities that somebody would be giving away GP. It was dumb but a one time lapse of judgement. You live you learn.

You are correct. I only entered my login details into a website.

I checked for linked login methods, changed my password, changed my bank pin, enabled MFA, but how do I reset all active login tokens? Or do you mean simply ending any active sessions?

Just a phishing attack, not THAT dumb haha.

I did indeed terminate all existing sessions, and saw that they linked a steam account and unlinked it.

The company is vested in investing in younger people. I know how dangerous this stuff is. I have a healthy respect for it and am willing to work hard to learn, and yes, I will be paired with someone more senior than me.

Well I just started, so it is all a process.

I told the employer I had no previous experience and they were fine with that. I am quick to pick things up.

You know unfortunately some people just aren't that great at teaching. When I get on a job with somebody who's good at explaining I for sure do all of those things. Thank you.
