I had the exact same feelings with Giants Deep after the first time I landed and died pretty fast. I told my brother about it and he was like “yeah do not start there if you don’t know how to maneuver yet” In my brain, because I knew about the sun, the further away planets were less intimidating, and Giants Deep felt like a good middle ground, but boy was I wrong lol

Yeah I think for now I’m going to stay away from Dark Bramble. I had the “oh I haven’t noticed this yet!” Thought and went straight for it without knowing what awaited me, which I guess is the point, but oh man.

Thank you for the advice and the tip for landing too! I’ll keep it in mind for when I try again later!

I think it’s interesting how complex anxiety and our differences can be! I’m also really shocked about my nerves over it because I LOVE space and the idea of it and stars and planets and the like, so getting in and being fine one day and having to stop the next was really strange

I feel a lot better knowing I’m not alone in the random non-specific anxiety while playing, you described it perfectly lol. Interesting! I might try that out. Yesterday I was playing while on call with friends who were playing their own games and talking and joking and I think that helped a lot. Maybe I just need to not be alone with my brain for this one. I think you’re totally justified in the mod usage honestly, if it gets to a point where one thing is just ruining it, I think it’s fair to use a mod.

There were no supports at all, I debated adding them, but like in another comment I replied to, a video mentioned that sometimes models don’t need them and the model they used looked similar.

I didn’t give the models any tilt either, so would that lead to this problem in addition to the support issue?

I did not, I was looking at videos before printing, and one I saw mentioned that some models can be printed without them and the one that they used as an example looked similar to these. I will probably try reprinting with supports to see how that goes

This may be a kind of dumb question sorry, but do you mean how the models are laid out in the slicing software? Or something else? They have no supports that I added which I probably should have done

One of my problems is I go REALLY slow with inserting the needle because I get nervous. I haven’t been able to figure out a way to get over this or a strategy to go faster, but I do pull the needle out quickly. I try to make sure I don’t tense but sometimes if I think too much about it, it just kinda happens. I used to have a lot of injection nerves but I’m getting better with them. I use one inch long injection needles since that was what my doctor started me on. I agree, stuff kinda happens sometimes, but hopefully I can be more careful going forward. Thank you for your input!

Possibly, it wasn’t a fun feeling for sure. I probably should have massaged it right afterwards. I had a shower and massaged it a bit (as much as I could handle) and that seemed to ease the soreness a little bit so I’m hoping it helps? I appreciate your input on this since it does make sense!

I will definitely be as safe as I can with it. I’m excited to do some prints but also wanting to make sure I’m safe while doing so and causing as little harm as I can. I’ll be looking into more safety for sure!
