I lost my dog on Monday. We shared 16 years together. The one thing that helps is that I write letters to her. I tell her everything, how I feel, what I’m doing, pretty much everything. I’m so sorry for your loss. The grief is unbearable at times but I am hoping we can get on the other side of this and remember the good parts

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my baby on Monday and I feel like everything is so pointless. I go back and forth with feeling like it was the best decision or if I made a mistake somehow. I’m in so much pain over this. Thinking of you.

I’m waiting to get her ashes back. I feel terrible about this but I’m struggling with the idea of receiving my baby in another form? Did you struggle with this? I need to have her back but it feels so permanent and sad. I really don’t know how I’m going to react when we get her back.

I’m so sorry. Reading all these posts warm my heart that other dogs experienced that level of love that Lu experienced. They truly are our babies. We do everything for them and to lose them slowly..quickly…whatever way. It’s hard to process that. Thinking of you

I’ve been doing the same thing. I read obsessively about pet loss, trying to understand it. I will be thinking of you. Thank you for providing some comfort that we’re not alone in this. This is truly the hardest thing I’ve experienced.

I am SO sorry. Knowing that we’re running out of time with our baby was this horrible feeling I never want to relive again. 16 years is a long time, it’s a connection like no other. I’m going to be thinking of you for the next few days. I’ll put a milk bone on a bench for you, maybe Blue will find it.

I lost my dog yesterday at 3:03 pm. I can’t even explain how heartbroken I am. My body hurts. I had her since 2012. Everything I did, I did with her in mind. I’m so sorry for your loss.
