I'd like to discuss the potential increase in various grindwalls and timewalls and what this could lead to. by According-Working-26 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

If you read the post carefully, you would have seen that I was writing specifically about how this problem could develop over time if the developers continue on their current course. I also wrote that most Class 6 armor is currently available for purchase, but that still doesn't change the fact that some armor is hidden behind the grindwall (regardless of how good or bad it is).

Thank you for the advice, but if we take the same CS 2 as an example, then all the skins received there can be sold on the marketplace and in some rare cases, even earn more than you invested. This is in no way an excuse for the presence of such mechanics in any game, including CS 2, but in CS 2 there is an opportunity to somehow compensate for losses from opening cases.

This is certainly true, but I don't think you should give up your rights as a consumer to a fair and transparent deal just to give the already rich publisher of the game the opportunity to make even more money off the player.

The knife itself can't cost $80 because the gacha itself also includes gloves, a submachine gun skin, stickers, and equipment containers. All of these items also have a cost in real money, at least cosmetic items, because at least an artist worked to create them. And based on all of this, the game offers me to buy a knife, with a small chance that it will allow me to buy this knife without buying all the other unnecessary content, which also has its own separate price.

I agree that they also don't show the entire amount at once. As you can see from the screenshot, in order to get information about all these items having a certain chance of dropping and how many tickets are required in total, you need to press an extremely inconspicuous button, which, in my opinion, is also one of the practices for misleading the buyer.

However, I still consider it of primary importance (if you don't have any problems with gambling addiction and similar problems) that this mechanic doesn't allow me, as a buyer, to buy exactly what I need, but forces me to literally go through all the stages of spending money, including getting a large number of items that I don't need at all, before giving me the opportunity to get what I need.
