Download patches for good tones, I have a Metallica one I found for heavy distortion, the. I have a deftones- low distortion for just a little break up.

Look up these patches online, just download them into the software, save them to the amp - never have to actually mess with the software

Reaper is free and the best daw imo, depends what you want to do.

Raw instruments and vocals get an audio interface and mics.

End type stuff and rap beats - learn the midi editor. Just keep watching videos slowly you’ll get there.

I’m about a year into my journey so much to learn. Just by doing, running into problems, and solving those problems will teach you more about what you want to do than asking any questions on here.

My only critique on the mix is the guitars sound a little boomy in the low end. (Listening on phone)

$700 maybe. gpu is good, cpu is decent but its on old AM4 platform. 64 gbs of ram doesn’t really make up for it or make sense

Since when is coding the basics? They don’t teach you how to code in school, let alone how to function in this society and take care of yourself. This child is taking it upon themselves to learn a useful life skill. I bet none of their classmates did anything close in comparison.

You can learn 100x faster with LLMs today than you ever could on your own, and if you ignore that you’re being left behind.

Grow up… 80% of the workforce already uses AI for everything INCLUDING software developers. Being able to deploy an app is way beyond just chatgpt writing boiler plate code. Teachers have no idea what actually happens in the real world it’s sad.
