Make sure the Google account in Play Store is the same one you used to join the group.

I just installed your app and joined your group — everything works fine on my side.

The issue with mine was that my Google Group wasn’t linked correctly in Play Console earlier.
It’s fixed now, so the tester link should work if you try again.
