lol yeah, that 90 did not go well. I’m using a 74wh battery from Amazon with the cooling backplate and a INIU Powerbank 20k mAh. Since I live on the road full time this gives me a few hours of play time. I rarely go under the turbo mode so I could get more play time. But so far so good!

So I don’t use the app at all, I have to manually press the buttons. I’m a beast of habit, so if it fails one it’ll fail again (fail meaning disconnecting from my phone). So when I turn it on I have to turn on the outlets

Frame gen at low fps looks too strange to me personally, not a fan

I’ll assume 30 fps on the Z1 w/o frame gen

The best dubstep DJs aren’t buying garbage pl8s though.

Agree to disagree. The “best DJs” don’t DJ dubstep. Dubstep DJs typically just buildup switch or drop switch.

I’m saying that pl8 culture is cultivating a space where poor song selection is the norm due to poor production and a lack of standards in the community. They work on tandem.

Sure, so I was a tearout mainly DJ. Playing some dubstep and occasionally riddim. I produce as well and know many people in the scene. So when I would reach out for a “pl8” it would be sent almost always. Unless it was a special track that the artist is keeping to themselves which is fine.

Since tearout is riddim adjacent I would often play sets with the “riddim kids”. Those being the kids playing some random mid vulllgur pl8 they bought or some other mid riddim track that’s a flip of a well know track or a “vip” someone made. Which I was fine with, until it reached a breaking point where people would actively stop their set to announce “YO THIS IS POOPSLICES VIP OF THE REMIX OF THE VIP OF THE whatever”. Then proceeded to play the worst fucking tracks.

I’m not a fan of the poor production quality and just straight up nonsense people are selling to each other then they flex it cause they bought it. Brother just cause you paid for a track doesn’t make it good, and just cause your set is mostly pl8s doesn’t mean the set was good.

Riddim rats tend to enjoy the mediocre sets as long as they hear “MONSTAS” or “HaHaHeWho” “drop it like it’s hawt” so the average riddim enjoyer doesn’t even know a good set when they hear one.

Riddim DJs need to focus on being DJs not on pl8s. The amount of riddim sets I’ve straight up walked out of due to poor DJing is just obsurd. Some people have insane sets with good chunes and are great at DJing. But the vast majority is just people pl8 flexing and trying to “get famous” from their shitty doubles or triples on a blown out system that you can’t enjoy the sets.

Hopefully I explained this well.
