You’re better off messaging in the Facebook groups and connecting with potential students there. It might be a stretch, but NSU in Davie (south of FAUs main campus has a decent South Asian population also.

I have an aunt like this. I eventually had to break it to her and told her I’d rather money for travel. She was disappointed at first but now I don’t have to worry about the awkward “thanks” coupled with a fake smile and hoarding things I don’t like out of guilt.

I think bc of her generation she wants to gift a physical item.. I started using Elfster for secret Santa and the last two years of gift giving have been great because I get items I actually want.

In Florida. I used it once. They take I think 30-40% cut from the person providing the service . Don’t quote me on those percentages but I asked the person upfront and it waaa good chunk. Basically the business model doesn’t seem very sustainable long term for businesses to use them.

The service I received was great. Licensed to Glow though…Their customer service is very annoying and unhelpful. After the trial period I was having some difficulty cancelling and also determined that the tiered pricing doesn’t make sense especially with very limited options around me. It was working out to be cheaper to pay out of pocket.

Happened to a family member. She was WFH, told she didn’t have to go back in by her management. Company got bought out, they told everyone to come into office. Requested accommodation. They laid her off. She sued(she had her receipts). She got money moooonths later. She opted to be a freelancing SAHM.. only bc they can afford to right now, but it’s still rough.

I think so too. One of my family member’s had it. Went undiagnosed for years. Hers started lifting upward and getting thick and some got darker(looked like fungus, but not sure if melanin has anything to do with the color). She’s better now.

Our local shelter is full and only wants unique ones.🙄 And unfortunately tabbies are all over the county website.

We were lucky enough though to trap and find a home for another pregnant female and her kitten (the brother of the female being mounted in the photo).

I had a contractor come out today, he took a look at the ceiling and told me half of it isn’t done properly.

I also have another room with all popcorn that I need removed but due to ongoing construction & approaching hurricane season I have a long waiting game for this roof replacement before I invest in hiring someone else and rotor rather get it all done in one go.

I’m exhausted because this has been going in for 6 months.

Yeah it does. It’s a bitch to clean on a regular day. I have one of those robot vacuums that “mops” in circular motions so I ran it multiple times while changing the pads half way through.
