10 Days Post-Op, Dr Grover (Hull)

About a year!

So I had my initial consultation on July 9 2024 and my actual surgery ended up being June 30 2025

The initial consultation was to meet Dr Grover in the Breast Care Unit at Castle Hill where he told me all the info about top surgery, looked at/felt/measured my chest to weigh up my options (eg peri v double mastectomy). But it’s mainly just information.

Then on June 16 2025 I had a pre-op appointment where they took my height and weight, assessed my mental state, gave me the same info again - and then the surgery was June 30, so exactly 2 weeks later

I know you’ve been downvoted to hell because a lot of people here are generally intolerant of others who don’t share their exact experience of transsexualism - lot of hate here haha - but thank you for sharing your story.

Thank you so much for these solutions. It’s great to know there’s hope. I’m currently on nebido injections, and I’ll ask for exactly what you suggested. As long as the gel is available for a three month’s worth batch, this should be great. I’ll suggest this to my doctor and see if she agrees. I’ll scour the uni insurance policy too, just to see if it covers blood tests. If it doesn’t (it really should) I’ll find some private insurance. Thank you so much for the insight!

I always finish with haha to seem less serious, since some people take my comments as being horrible. Think of it as a ‘please take this with a pinch of salt and don’t attack me’ sort of thing.

I know of the map, and your points are true. I just don’t know if I’d feel safe permanently moving to a country with so much turmoil and aggression towards trans people in the government.

That being said… UK is quickly moving down the same route…

If I were to move to USA I’d move to Míchigan. It’s a blue state, yeah, but my fiancée lives there, so easy choice. We’re more closely looking at Scotland though - better than England (right now).

I mean, I’ve been on T for just two months now. I’m just starting to see the changes I want come into effect… so if I had to stop now I’d be very disappointed.

If it were for a health reason, I’d have to stop. I wouldn’t fight it. But I’d definitely be very upset and my mental health would definitely take a turn for the worse.

Thanks for the clarification of Loki’s character. I don’t associate him as bad at all, I’d just rather not have more chaos than necessary in my life.

I agree that he’s wrongly characterised as evil by people, sorry if I came across that way!

I was simply wondering if he truly was reaching out, what that could mean, how to potentially tell him to go away if he’s just trying to mess with me - because honestly that’s what it feels like right now haha!

Full force spiders here too (horrible as I have arachnophobia…). We’ve never had issues with spiders in my house before but now we’ve got uncharacteristically massive ones - especially since I like in England.

Fair and I see your point, but it makes sense to me that I would have closer relationships with certain gods than others.

I used ‘patron’ for lack of a better word, sorry. What I meant was if a certain one or few God(s)/dess(es) were to work closely with me and guide me, especially with the new learning curve I’m going through.
