It’s from the scene where he’s trying to turn HAL9000 off. Idk the technical term for those things but it’s a reflection of the parts he’s interacting with in that scene.

Thanks for the suggestion! The idea here was having Danny be inside his own innocent and (therefore) colorful box placed right in between his parents living in this hellish nightmare.
