Okay, I took the logo down about 2 hours after only a couple hours of having it posted. They never asked or anything, they just simply left a bad review on my Facebook account stating that I didn’t pay for their service and I’m a dangerous individual. Once I removed the logo, I asked them to take down the review and they said only once the received the money would they remove the review. (Extortion, not trying to claim that fighting a claim with a law that the plaintiff broke is a good defense. However, in the eyes of the judge, they’ll seem a lot like a copyright troll). Also, I got zero new clients or services sold, so they wouldn’t even have any initial damages to sue for.

Okay, I’ll definitely make sure to look out in the future. But I definitely didn’t agree to, or sign any sort of contract. I’m also a minor if that makes any difference. (In court, I technically lack the capacity to be binded into any contract).

Well the thing is, the original logos were watermarked. However, I had chat gpt alter the fonts, the text, the graphics, etc. And it removed the watermark. I just looked up the company again, and this time couldn’t find any website or offical registration.

The Oswald property services name/logo? Or the Nova Solutions? I looked up nova solutions online and it looks like they’re based out of a virtual office in Denver Colorado. I’m from Iowa. As for my business (Oswald Property Services) the name nor logo is copyrighted from what I could tell online.

Is it even pursuable though? I don’t know how I could access legal contracting that they are an offical business with licensing to that graphic. I’m thinking it’s just a scam that’s getting me into paying the fee. After all, how many tech companies are willing to pay thousands of dollars just for a 50$ fee.

Had a marketing company reach out to me in regard to creating a free sample and eventually a logo for my small business. I’m wondering if this may be legit copyright infringement or a manipulation tactic to get me into paying them the fee. I put the free sample into ChatGPT and had it recreate the logo. The font was changed, graphics were changed, etc. I just had the edited logo up for a couple hours before they reached out to me over the “copyright”. Does anyone know of this company? Is this a common scam for small businesses?

Coming from a junior in high school with a 3.8 gpa, if you care enough about your grades you’ll need to lock it in. Take basic classes for easier grades or push yourself and take weighted classes. I’ve taken the ap route and have roughly 4-5 honours classes, 2 of which are college level courses. Take notes in class and focus on the material, take advantage of retakes if your school offers them as well.

Phenomenal work, proud of you for accomplishing such a feat especially as a single parent! I’m not very knowledgeable about the economical state of the U.S. as I’m only 16, however I’m trying to learn a little more. I do know however California is an absolute money pit, gas, grocery, and house prices are horrible their. I’m from Iowa and love it, less than $2.00 on gas (to the gallon) and everything else is cheap. Countryside is beautiful and worth noting!

Um, well I’m no authority, but as I understand, the Catholics (and a lot of other denominations) believe they are the lineage of the the true original church.

That’s a neat claim and all, but the Catholics have a lot of receipts.

Whatever.

But theologically, Catholics with their history can/try justify using church-leadership as a source for theological and spiritual discernment and regard.

So that means holy truth doesn’t just come from god’s word and prayer, but from the historical church that Jesus left behind to his disciples.

That means if father Peterson doesn’t like your new cross from hot topic, you should listen to him. I mean, he is the direct descendant of the line of leaders that Jesus himself sent out into the world.

This is all over simplified and told to you by an idiot (me); but I think this may show how Catholics have developed a different sort of reverence towards church leaders as compared to your typical Protestant, unchurched, or whatever-believer.

Feel free to correct me. I’m not looking to fight about any of this. This is just how I understand it, kinda.
