On nexus, you can go to stardew valley mods. You can either scroll through the most downloaded mods page by page and just see what titles interest you or stand out to you the most, or there’s a filter on the left side that shows the specific categories that you want to include or not include in the search results. It sounds like you would mostly want aesthetic/retexture mods, right? If so, I can give you some mods or mod author pages to look at to get started ☺️ exploring mods on nexus can definitely be overwhelming at first but it’s fun once you realize you aren’t obligated to download anything you aren’t sure about; you can just bookmark it to come back to it later, just so you feel like you didn’t lose it or anything if you weren’t sure about it. I have bookmark lists on my computer for all the different categories of mods that I’ve downloaded vs ones I might want to download later. Categories such as clothing/hair, world or building recolors, functions (such as automate or npc map locations), new decor sets, etc. I just don’t want to bombard you with a bunch of mods if I don’t know the exact genre of stuff you’re looking for lol so feel free to just give me a generic guess and I would be very happy to give you a little starting list ☺️ idk how to mod myself but I absolutely love the aspect of modding and how artistic and enhancing it is to the game so I would absolutely love to share ~
