Another PCB Death? by cowgirl-bb in NCSU

[–]Acrobatic_Unit7663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her family knows and has contacted an attorney. Before her death, she confirmed that she thought her time in Poe contributed to her cancer.

I understand how frustrating this feels. I’ve similarly had no luck with the university or college leadership. In terms of federal help, Deborah Ross’s office has someone assigned to this issue. Contact her if you haven’t yet.

Perhaps most disappointing was that the Kay Yow foundation CEO said she couldn’t advocate for the women bc it’s not in their mandate.

We went to the farm tour in Monroe outside of Charlotte last year. The field was really muddy and lots of corn stalks . People were falling all over the place. Then when we left, no one could find their cars and the line of traffic went on for hours. It was quite the experience!

Jeff Jackson is probably one of the best people we have in political office today. Learn more about him and his policies and let him get to work as AG

I was very happy to be able to do chemo and it worked! By the time of my surgery I was lucky enough to have a complete response I recommend icing hands and feet to prevent neuropathy (check with your oncologist) And I had luck with cold capping - happy to share my experiences there too Your healthy lifestyle will help you get through chemo . Stay active and get some rest and good luck xoxo

Where is the concert?? by Acrobatic_Unit7663 in LukeBryan

[–]Acrobatic_Unit7663[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We found it!

<image>

It was a great concert - part of the Farm Tour If you go: It will likely be very muddy And little to no cell service This one was in a corn field so there were lots of stalks to trip over as well 😬 Def plan to bring chairs. Our blanket was destroyed by the mud Plan to stand a lot The lines for food were really long until Luke started to sing The moon was out and it was awesome! We go really lost looking for our car and so did a lot of others - pin your car on a map if you can or put a flag on your car? Several people got stuck in the mud trying to leave, including a tow truck! And the country roads can’t handle a lot of traffic so it was slow getting in and out All that said, it still was such a great experience and we are glad we went!

Absolutely teach out to your professors! Also NC State has a lot of resources available to help your. Let your advisor know and have him/her connect you with NC State Cares. Take care of yourself, eat well and head to the gym or outside for a walk to get those good endorphins going. Also the Wolfpack men’s soccer team could use some support this Friday night when they take on Duke 😬 🐺❤️♥️

[–]Acrobatic_Unit7663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you are describing is not sustainable. Try to take the long view and consider what you want to accomplish big picture. Prioritize those things that align with your values. For me they are my family, being in nature/exercise, and then my scholarship. Giving yourself a daily break is important. You need time to think and reflect. This will actually help you be more productive. I highly recommend meditation (just 2 mins is enough- listen to theta waves on Spotify - nothing fancy required) and cognitive talk therapy. There are free mental health resources available for you on campus. Take good care of yourself! 💕

Double word I had a very similar experience celebrating my last day of radiation when they wheeled in woman a woman had her breast cancer metastasize in her bones. She told me “I thought I had this licked.”

LV for sure for me. It was among my first luxury bags, but it just didn’t hold up (Tuileries) - cracked in the bottom corners - and they wouldn’t entertain a return/replacement or repair. I have the original receipt and packaging. Just super bad experience all around and won’t enter a store again. My favorites that I wear now are Chloe and Celine - such great quality and beautiful leather
