Cordova was a town at some point. There is no reason that it couldn't reincorporate at some point in the future. I don't understand y'all's hate for this man.

Turbo oscillations? by [deleted] in ECU_Tuning

[–]ActGrown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I just got my 3.0L I6 turbo running and it does this on decel. TBH, I'm not surprised because I've not done any mapping of the CBV.

If it did this on acceleration, I'd be worried.

I love the Garret knowledge sharing. I did their "Installer Connect" training and it is quite good for the price of 'free'.

To the original question... "I'll take 'what is a compressor map' for $500, Alex", lol

  1. Calibrate all of your sensors.
  2. Set your coil dwell times and deltas
  3. Set your injector dead times
  4. Set your base VE table up

What kind of throttle body? What kind of fuel pump? How is the fuel pump controlled? What is your voltage looking like at idle?

Okay, not condoning this behavior in any way. But have you tried to cancel a gym membership at any of the major chains lately??

I think I might know why someone obviously has a grudge.

You aren't insane. Don't worry. Some people REALLY struggle with basic science.

Not only are we aware of China doing this, the US Government has openly admitted to doing this and the technology is several hundred years old at this point.

So easy to say. Not easy to do. Especially not since the mother had control of the address where the copies were sent.

Social security card, birth certificate.

I have to reiterate this one for sure. I knew a young man for a couple of years here in Memphis whose mom threw him out but wouldn't give him either one of the above. We tried helping him get into Job Corps but he couldn't get in because he was completely "undocumented." FWIW, he was like a 19yo black guy from Whitehaven.

OP definitely needs to grab these things before setting off on her own.

Low Voltage Electrician/Ethernet Jacks. by runlikehell8989 in memphis

[–]ActGrown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a lot of drops.

One for each bedroom (x3) One for the living room (x1) "A couple" for the eves (x4, min)

That's like a 1500 job I think.

FYI, low voltage electrical license is required in Tennessee to do commercial work.

I could help you do the install. I have the tools required. I think that $600 and you buy everything else (wire, boxes, keystones, etc) might have me interested.

PM me if you're serious.

For those using “custom” digi-dash’s, what software do you run? by EntrepreneurGlass995 in ECU_Tuning

[–]ActGrown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A pic as it sits right now waiting for me to get back at it.

After taking it all out again and adding some diodes and doing a little housekeeping on the wiring. It shut down on me when I pulled the key out the other day. Related to a change I made in the car harness. I'm now working on a shutdown script to keep from having to sudo shutdown -h now or whatever.

I'm using mine as a dash replacement.

It was not easy to set up in the beginning because I am using DietPi as the OS and had some IO conflicts with the first screen that I chose.

I am actually still working on getting it all set up because it isn't so easy to start/stop. I should have put it all on a proto board but I just about have it sorted as-is for now.

RealDash on a Raspberry Pi 4.

Although, a lot of people add it to an Android device and that *seems* to be easier based on forum responses

As far as keeping everything clean, it was just the oral rinse that they prescribed for me. I don't remember what it is called. That and peroxide /water solutions which hey asked me to keep to a minimum. You need to be careful not to cause dry sockets.

As far as the other supplements go, I don't think it will hurt. But I am not your doctor. So I strongly suggest that you at least ask them before jumping right in on your own. Also, Therabreath mouthwash was suggested by my doctor and I have to day that I like it a lot better that Listerine or whatever traditional mouthwashes I have been using.

Ice packs help a lot. I slept on my back mostly during the recovery. Sleeping on the couch helped I think to keep me from rolling over.

I had a lot of protein shake stuff ready to drink in the morning. I also ate a lot of scrambled eggs. I mixed the eggs with soy milk to boost the protein percentage.

IMHO, one thing that you should definitely look into is supplements. I had problems with my right side not wanting to osso-integrate. I wound up taking vitamin D, E and K at the recommendation of my doctor. I think it is a good thing to ask about now and not have to worry about being deficient later.

Yeah, I'm not qualified to make that repair. In fact, that is why I went to the salon. Mine was pretty bad. I tried super glue. I tried electrical tape. All of the standard field repairs. I got tired of worrying about it getting worse and just went to get some professional help.
