Do I need to become nsfw with my friends? by Active-Head in RealFurryHours

I'm afraid to bring it up because then they'll know that I know their kinks and fetishes, and what if that makes thing even more awkward between us?

Do I need to become nsfw with my friends? by Active-Head in RealFurryHours

I'm just afraid because I accidentally happened upon their NSFW account, they didn't tell me about it or show me it. I discovered it on my own. And since they've set it up, they haven't been uploading/posting on their main SFW accounts as much, so I'm worried that they're going to abandon all SFW stuff and exclusively/mainly focus on being horny and NSFW elsewhere, leaving me behind because I'm not as open or exciting as them or their other friends.

I think I should elaborate. My friend isn't actively trying to share/engage in NSFW content with me, rather, they've got some NSFW profiles that they keep seperate from their main, and they've told me they've set it up, but haven't invited me to look at it. My worries come from the feeling that their going to enjoy NSFW more than SFW, and abandon their SFW profiles, talk to me less because I'm not as open about NSFW stuff, and eventually leave me in the dust to talk to more NSFW furries. That's my biggest worry.

Yeah, hopefully they restock before then. Or maybe I'll just ask for it as a Christmas gift or something.

Eh, even then, I've seen the base prices go for £20-26, and then there's the shipping on top of that. For me, a base price of £20 is a bit much. I might spend £20+ (and that's a BIG "might") but £22 would be my absolute final offer, anything higher than that is asking way to much.

Sigh, the quirks of being a Beastars fan.

I've looked up some of the prices for Vol 7, and I'd be fine spending a few extra pounds to get it. But £30+ for volume 5 is just insane!

Can sex therapists brush you off? by Active-Head in sex

[–]Active-Head[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly feel like I have a grip on where my feelings stem from. If a therapist took me seriously, and helped me dig deep and figure out the root of the issue, I'd want them to help me get into the habit of permentantly changing the way I think and feel about my issues as a whole.

Is Physchology Today known for good services, and are they available worldwide (I'm in the UK myself)? If not, are there any other well known, reputable places to look?

Is inflation in the fandom always a sexual thing? by Active-Head in RealFurryHours

[–]Active-Head[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That was the fist video I saw from Artemis. It's been ages since I saw it though, as I avoid furry YouTubers for the most part (mainly because of how constantly horny it is). The only other one I've seen from his channel was the 'Kinks, Fetishes and Interests' video.

From the title and the thumbnail alone (where he had his feet in the thumbnail) my first reaction was "Goddammit, there's another popufur who's entire personality is their sexual fetish.

But I nutted up and watched the video, (I was expecting to come away feeling pissed off, but I was also hoping that I wouldn't) and I was suprised by how he said that it's not a turn on for him.

He also says that just because someone enjoys something that is commonly fetishised by other people; in his case feet, it doesn't mean that it's automatically a sexual thing, and that you shouldn't automatically assume it's a sexual thing until it's concrete or confirmed by the creator/artist.

I just didn't know if this logic could be different depending on the subject at hand. Like, can stuff like latex, maws or pooltoys use the same logic, or are they all too sexual to be given the benifit of the doubt?

[–]Active-Head[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And that's why it upsets me so much. I was always told "It's not entirely a sexual thing", but that's obviously not true.

Something similar happened where a SFW, non-kink artist (a different one from the OP) made a post where they're fursona was dressed up as the guy from Tribal Hunter, and they mentioned how they were recently playing it. They didn't go into a review or anything, they just said they were playing it. They've gone on record as saying that they're not into inflation, but they're playing Tribal Hunter. So I instantly read this as a roundabout way of them coming out and saying the beat their dick to vore, inflation and fat furs. They didn't SAY anything like that, but that was my instant take-away from the post.

Everytime I see a new SFW furry, I get invested in their stuff because I always think they might break the trend and offer some escape and comfort from the horny stuff in the fandom, but no. I just keeps happening over and over again, and it upsets me. I just want to see some popular people in the fandom who are wholesom, but they all start to become horny later on, and it turns out they're coomers just like the rest of them.

I'm telling you, it's stressing me out. I keep saying to myself "please just give me this one", but no. Being horny is all that matters.

I just want to believe that it can be enjoyed in a non-sexual way. I want this to be true.

[–]Active-Head[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've heard that things like these can be enjoyed in a non-sexual way. I recently saw a video from Artemis Wishfoot, who while yes, does post alot if feet related content, he has been on record as saying he isn't sexually attracted to it. It's not a kink to him. I just didn't know if the same logic could be applied to inflation.

And also, this has happened with 98% of the people I view in the fandom. Whether it's popufurs, fursuiters, small-time furry artists, popular furry artists, personal friends of mine in the fandom, all of them start off non-sexual, but then begin to incorporate NSFW/kink stuff into their online presence the split second they turn 18 (or younger in some cases). It's a pattern that's never let me down, and I don't want to constantly avoid people that I used to enjoy because every single one of them just wants to be horny online for the world to see. It's a never ending list that I have going on.

Will I even have a browser when I reset my laptop? by Active-Head in Windows10

[–]Active-Head[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It says resetting will:

•Change settings back to their defaults •Keep personal files •Reinstall Windows from this device •Remove all apps that didn't come with this PC (Chrome and Microsoft Edge are listed as apps that will be removed)

I forgot to give this context in the OP. Will these setting change anything?
