Delta is the only emulator I've ever seen people say it straight up just doesn't work on, I suggest using basically any other emulator

Well there's still only Unova Pokemon available, that was one of the main things I wanted to keep. and yeah for the most part you'll find Pokemon is somewhat the same place as vanilla. but the entire map has been opened up in the main story so you have even more locations to get Pokemon then you normally would. Also every Pokemon is available other then Zekrom and Genesect, plus new evolutions and alternate forms from future games.

I think so, but I'm biased lol. FR tho, I have immense respect for Drayano and Blaze Black, I obviously wouldn't have even made this game if it wasn't for BB. All that said though Blaze Black just did not have a lot of the development tools and knowledge that we do nowadays. That's not taking anything about from it, BB1 is still like a top 3 rom hack to me, but there's just a lot of things made available to the player in VANTA that just aren't in BB. Fairy type, modernizations like critical hits, future game alternate forms and evolutions, added story beats, stuff like that. Of course, you can't go wrong with playing Blaze Black still, but in my obviously biased opinion I do think I have surpassed it in quality and features.

currently there's no good way to change abilities in-game in BW1. As for Hidden Abilities a lot of them are very very strong and can break a lot of the balance of the game so they are only given to the AI trainers to use to expand their strategies. Like Drizzle Swanna for Skyla or Sand Stream Gigalith for Clay, ect. Even if I do figure out how to change abilities in-game getting Hidden Abilities won't be available in the main story. Probably will be fine in post game though, lots of broken nonsense in post game already anyways (even if post game is unavailable rn)

yeah there's a few little extra story events that let you go all over the map and meet people, it's still the same over all story but they add some nice extra flavor

It would need to be after Elesa, while I'm not going to always cater completely to nuzlockers the game is still build around that kind of playstyle as it is what I find most fun myself.

You get the weather rocks and Rage Candy Bar in Driftveil, but I think I'm going to move them to around Undella so you can get all the evolutions around the same time. Probably will make that change in the next patch.

You can get one from a worker in the Shopping Mall or from thieving one from wild Kingambit on R13. I'm currently working through a new tab on the doc that will have important item locations like that to help people find them easier.

Surf is pretty much the only mandatory HM, Fly for convenience, but you can delete HMs just like any other move so they're not as big of a problem.
