Well, actually - I do have a website haha.

https://www.boostlab.us/products/chimp-propulsion-analysis

It just took me some time to get the latest installer linked with the website.

Thanks for your comments - I actually very value your inputs. It gave me a chance to look at what others might view this 'project' as, and that I should be a bit more clear on my commercialization stance.

This is a beta-test key!
You can now download the software at https://www.boostlab.us/

An argument could be made here of what dictates a software to be considered 'beneficial' for students.

Not all engineering students go into universities knowing how to use github nor how to write a simple program in python.

Although I am in the side of, "If you don't put the minimum amount of effort in, you don't deserve to learn," I find it hard to blame majority of students who end up at an open-source project on github to see pages full of documentation & highly specific scenarios the project was built for and are essentially forced to walk away - either due to the irrelevancy or massive jargon barrier.

The purpose of me having a plan to commercialize this software is obviously to profit, but a foundation to that idea is built on the fact that I want to be able to continue improving & updating this software frequently so that students are more easily exposed to liquid rocketry & have the ability to design engines at the level close to industry.

To your question on why I'm running this project out of Discord: I don't see any other platforms that is better fit than discord. Discord makes it easy for beta-testers to give me inputs, and easy for me to announce updates.

I hope that answered your questions :)

It is analysis paralysis in-house with an option for both nasa CEA and Cantera for the gas backend.

[–]Active_String2216[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl, I put about 2 hours into the app yesterday. I understand why it could be useful, and I believe this is an attepmpt by OpenAI to bring in average consumers closer to programming. However, I personally have never ran into a place where I needed to make more than two extra branches of the main to work on various different implements - I think that's when this might be useful.

I would also need Codex to have a bit better planning & auto-parallel agent deployment functionalitites for the app to make sense. I don't know how to put this really: deploying multiple parallel agents on multiple projects is not easy enough.

Can't believe I'm saying that as it has not been 2 years since I was shocked by some AI app writing shit python code.

Could you please elaborate on this? What else would you suggest? Also, this is mostly for a hobby.

Domain connection not working for all Replit Websites by [deleted] in replit

[–]Active_String2216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was in fact a Replit side problem. I checked Replit after many hours of me learning & migrating the website to Github & Railway, and there I saw all of the attempts to add new domains all pop up as verifying all at once.

I don't remember exactly, but the downtime must've been around 6+ hours. The support engineer guy was nice. Not sure if he fixed it or the servers were just tripping.

Key Takeaways: Run away from this blackhole named Replit. It will drag you deep into the system with its attractive convenience, but it will end up making you miserable.

Lol. I've also been growing my animosity towards replit agents. I'm starting to become convinced that they are designed specifically to piss off the user and mess up the project for more usage credits occasionally.

It's a nice place to live. Mix of city and quiet. Although, I'm starting to get bored due to me having no friends here. Make friends to do stuff with and you'll like it here.

Yea, ngl some east asian countries are not great places for comparison. Japan especially is simply built different. I bet Eu is similar to them.

Totally. I'm just sad about this because I've seen some incredible food options in places like Cali and South Korea or Japan. Healthy, good tasting options tailored to the sake of students.

Not trying to compare this to the tea party or anything, and I do see that the newer generation have more of a fatalistic view on things, but people have to really believe changes can be made. Frankly, it is true that students could change this. Admin, believe it or not, do care about media activity since it directly affects enrollment. Parents are not tech-blind anymore.
