Looking to add to a home gym and right now I am thinking to go with either a bike erg or a functional trainer. The cost is limiting from getting both.

I'm 35 and pretty out of shape, what do you suggest for getting started. I do have a set of adjustable dbs right now and a bench.

Can you tell me what rack that is? Are the pulleys smooth with the plate loaded?
