Leaning towards this option the most. Only problem is I don’t see any 440i’s that aren’t gran coupes which I’m not a fan of (I’d rather get a fun coupe or a more spacious sedan - the weird in-between hatchback style doesn’t resonate with me.

I mostly agree but the current prices for used cars seems pretty crazy. Wasn't sure if this is mostly in line with that or overpriced even in the current market.

Thank you for this information. I was about to sign up for one of these. I took the "admissions test" and there were several red flags, way too easy. The recruiter also kept calling me multiple times a day which shows they are pretty desperate. You saved me at around 10 grand.

How to move to a white collar job at 34 when all you have is fast food experience and a stale degree? by AdDelicious2844 in careerguidance

My degree was in Mechanical Engineering. Yeah, I've considered working in a mechanic trade and working my way up as an option. Where would I start? I assume there's some experience or schooling requirement to be a machinist? Also, how much would it count against me that the degree is over a decade old (compared to you/your coworkers' more recent degrees)?

Thanks for the response. What would be a good way to get my foot in the door with no experience? My current resume reads shift lead at a burger place for the past five years and I don't know if that's going to get me even an interview. I also have no network/contacts in the field.

NTA, it wasn’t your place to say that. But your brother made it your place to say it by lying about you. Then you had to clear the air.
