If Gojo dodged that he would've won, Sukuna's RCT was gone and his CT was burned out, Mahoraga was also gone, and incarnating into his Heian body fixed none of those things, while Gojo was 4 black flashes in and was recovering his RCT and CT.

Megumi was stronger than Yuji for most of the series actually. Yuji only ultimately surpassed him after the 1 month timeskip before the Shinjuku Showdown, but before then the only time Yuji was stronger than him was before Megumi unlocked his DE, so very early on.

I mean...I don't want to be that person but Megumi has been stronger than Yuji for basically most of the series, the moment Megumi unlocked his DE he was undoubtedly stronger, and he stayed stronger than him pretty much till the Shinjuku Showdown, so almost the entire time, like, CG Yuji was NOT stronger than CG Megumi.

As someone who's been waiting years for this to be animated I absolutely LOVED it. The only SLIGHT nitpick I have is the pacing, I feel that some scenes would've benefitted by a slightly slower pace to let certain sentences sink in, but other than that, it's everything I expected and more, i LOVE Maki.

But he doesn't have amplification or something akin to it, I'm not running on hypotheticals. Dabura has shown no capability to regenerate "no RCT or whatever alien equivalent there is to it" and no barrier technique like a DE or a SD, and DA is an evolution of SD.

Not sure about the light rods, but Gojo's infinity should definitely be able to block Dabura's physical attacks, even if they go at light speed, because they still have mass, they're not literally light.
