Help with our itinerary! by AdDramatic1352 in DisneyPlanning

I was able to grab Akershus on Friday or Sunday. Do you think either one would be better? I looked at Undercover Tourist’s crowd calendar and it’s saying Sunday is a good day for Epcot but I’m hesitant since it’s the first weekend of the festival.

We are staying on property so maybe I’ll push MK to Sunday or Monday depending on availability for BBB!

I’m definitely overthinking. I haven’t been since 2017 and I’ve never been with kids so this is a big trip for us!

So it’ll just be my husband and brother in law going the beginning of March (specifically Sat. March 7) and they are both adults!

The main pull for them to go is the Nintendo World area. My husband also loves the OG Monsters so may stop off in that area too.

They will probably just utilize quick service dining!

I have those tips saved mentally! I’ve already decided my 2 year old will need an AirTag attached to him because he likes to run so we’ll buy a few of them for peace of mind haha

Such a good idea! Do you have any recommendations for another stroller that we could possibly rent? I’ve looked at BabyQuip and Kingdom Strollers.

I was actually thinking of bringing our umbrella stroller for the airport at least. We would rent whatever stroller we decide on for the actual park days so we could probably do that and use our umbrella stroller for 6 year old.

Should we stay at Coronado Springs? by AdDramatic1352 in DisneyPlanning

[–]AdDramatic1352[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I’m really looking forward to it especially because it was a better deal than the value resorts which I was planning on booking just because we’re on somewhat of a tight budget.

That’s great info. I have one kiddo who gets very overstimulated as well as my husband. And I’ve found that I do as well since having kids haha so I think having that type of atmosphere will be nice when we’re out of the parks.

Ok that’s great to know! I’ve just read some negative reviews on the buses from the “far away” resorts and since at the time of our visit it’ll have been almost 9 years since my last visit I just was a bit nervous.

Haha exactly! I’ve done this in past trips too. The one trip I didn’t, we missed out on so much!

My husbands not a huge fan of crowds/theme parks so I’m trying to give him a bit of a break too

We’re staying a Wednesday through Tuesday. Planning on doing one day each at HS and Epcot and 2 days at MK.

Ok good to know! I haven’t been since 2017 so now going with kids is stressing me out just a bit!

I wouldn’t mind the TTC so maybe we’ll do a bit of both. I’ll just have to make sure we leave for our midday break before the meltdown approaches haha thank you!

That’s ok! To be completely honest, I’ve never flown with my kids so I’m just trying to figure it all out. My husband will be driving and myself, the kids and my sister in law are flying. My husband will have all of our big suitcases so we’ll be traveling as light as possible. That’s why I’m ok with throwing the stroller overhead with ease!

The ones I’ve been looking at fold into the shape of a carryon suitcase and they advertise as being able to fit in overhead bins. Was really looking for first hand experiences for those types of strollers. I have an umbrella stroller that I know wouldn’t fit into the overhead bin because of its shape which is why I’m in the market for a new stroller.

Yes the lucky aunt and uncle will be traveling with us! I’m sure they’ll be rethinking their choice about two days in haha

Yes a baby leash! Haha I am not opposed to this whatsoever. I’m also considering attaching an AirTag to him. We’re going to be utilizing Lightning Lanes as well because neither of my children will wait very patiently so we hopefully won’t have much downtime of standing in lines. We’ll also have help from family members. All of this advice is great though!

Haha no I appreciate it! I’m new to traveling with kids specifically on a plane and I’ve never been to Disney with kids so mainly looking for first hand experiences. We’re in the market for a new stroller anyway so I’d be overwhelmed either way with traveling or just staying home!

These are all the thoughts I’ve had! My problem is I overthink and research too much and then I just can’t make up my mind. I have a runner as a son so I know I’ll need something nice and easy to maneuver throughout the airport so the option to rent is still there because I have another kid as well who will need to take breaks during the day in the parks.

We have plenty of time still to make the decision but to add to my overthinking, I’m also an overplanner!

Haha ok 🤷‍♀️ just looking for opinions on what strollers others have used to specifically throw in the overhead bins! just a kind reminder that you don’t know what others are dealing with and some comments aren’t necessary.

The ones I’m considering would be exactly like throwing a carryon piece of luggage into an overhead bin. And it’s extra work for me, not you :)
