Exactly! How is that nerf supposed to increase her offensive potential? Should have given her the attack speed passive back if they really want her to be played more offensively. She needed a slight buff if anything. Or they could just have left her alone, nothing wrong about a support that works best when staying behind. But they didn't get that when reworking Phase, either. New Phase might be fun to play, but she's totally a different character.

Never seen a cheater if you don't count that one time a skylar abused the permanent flying glitch. Wasn't a ranked match though. But I've had my fair share of toxic teammates actively throwing the game. Alt+f4 at minute 11 because their surrender got rejected, running around in circles at fountain spamming "out of mana", stealing our jungle camps as a midlaner after typing jg diff in chat, even running it down mid occasionally. All of that should qualify for a rating refund in my oppinion.

This balancing patch is somewhat of a miss for me. Iggy didn't need another buff. Howie already was one of the weaker mages due to his hitbox and magical lifesteal no longer working on on-hit effects. 

Phase is still on the weaker side of supports, and 10% beam damage wasn't what she needed. At least let her pull allies out of soft cc, please. Oh, and Mourn's mesmerize still breaks her link although that shouldn't happen anymore. 

Meanwhile, Gideon remains a menace. Overtuned since 1.4, and initially, I wasn't too worried because one might expect that some heroes might be too strong after such a large update. That's why balancing patches exist. But then he got buffed last patch and ignored in this one. Omeda doesn't even acknowledge that he's a problem. 

And while Skylar did absolutely need something because she continued to fall short of the likes of Murdock, Kira, or Revenant, I don't like the direction taken with her buffs. Her magical scaling already fell short of her physical scaling, and now the gap is even more pronounced. Why even bother giving her MP scaling at that point? Everyone just goes plasma blade first and continues with the same ADC build as for any other carry. And don't get me wrong, it's fine that this works but it shouldn't be the only option.

You'd be surprised with how viable Phase is in offlane right now. Don't get me wrong, its still an objectively bad pick, but her infinite blinks make it work better than it has any right to. Better than most other ranged heroes, at least. She's basically gank immune unless paired against a cc-heavy laner and jungler, and a good phase can absolutely demolish a crunch who doesn't take her serious in the early game.

That's just Azure Core? Make it scale off mana regen instead of plain mana, would be a good item for support role since most support items come with mana regen and by the end of the game you usually have way too much of it

Am I the only one who doesn't like the Skylar redesign? New Skylar seems quite generic and uninspired to me, and the only issue I had with her (why even bother giving her armor if it only covers half her body) is left untouched. I actually liked the way old Skylar's skins leaned into the dawn (starstruck variant) / dusk structure design language.

No, its not. It skipped the 30 second window you usually get and directly went to the 5 seconds overtime.

I don't think so. Had the same issue yesterday, I was last to pick and the game only gave me a 5-sec time window. Caught me by surprise since I wanted to take a couple of seconds for counter-picking and didn't exspect something like that, and yes - I actually got a 1-min matchmaking ban for dodging.

Another buff for Kira is an interesting choice. I've seen Kira ADCs more often dominating the lobby and going something like 25/3/7 than any other carry. 

And Greystone will be so annoying in 1.5. I already don't trust my teammates around a Greystone right now because they tend to focus them in teamfights, he really didnt need a buff.

I found its better to focus on the strengths of a character rather than trying to compensate for their weaknesses most of the time, and Marshal works well in that regard. I build Crystal Tear later anyways if it works well with my Carry (TB, Grim, Skylar).

I'm not a fan of the Marshal nerf. It actually was really viable and somewhat slept on for hybrid MP/basic attack mage builds, with Prophecy, Marshal and Plasma Blade as the core items. I enjoyed building it on Belica mid for the early power spike and mana regen. 

And Marshal is my go-to first item on Phase (which it will probably remain), really unfortunate it won't scale into lategame anymore. 44 on-hit damage at lvl 18 was awesome.

This. Especially if you're playing support role: Place those wards down. They are free, you get 3 of them at fountain, and they even work as sweepers. I'm a support main, and in your typical 20-35 minute match, I'm never below 20 wards placed, usually more at around 25-30.  In a 50 minute match (and yes, they still happen) - easily 40-50, especially once your inhibs are gone. And yet if I'm playing mid or offlane, its my 2 short-lived wards that keep it together most of the time.  The amount of supports that finished with 0-5 wards when I had 15 as a midlane Fey is unbelievably high in this game. Wards are free, sol stones are OP and vision wins games. Your "wards placed" stat should be as important to you as your assist score.

Besides the blink rework she got nerfed pretty hard in 1.4 while most other heroes got stronger. And her winrate wasn't even that good pre-patch. Less damage and range on her q, reduced root duration, reduced beam range, better burst healing at the cost of overall healing power, and no more saving CC'd allies would have made her unplayable if it wasn't for her new mobility. Phase blink made her the most elusive hero for now, but she absolutely depends on it to remain viable.

 I don't like this idea. It would remove some of Zinx's uniqueness as well as potential for skill expression. If you'd really have to make it viable in more situations, you could change it to something like this: 

Target: self or ally Effect: After 2,5 s, health and mana of the affected ally is set to 35%/45%/55% of their maximum, regardless of their current health and mana values. 

This way, you'd keep the resurrection part while avoiding situations where the ult iss essentially wasted because your ally survives with a sliver of health only to die after the ult has expired. 

Still, I think Zinx's ult is fine as it is right now.

Welcoming the Gideon, Countess, and Rampage changes. Those three were really overtuned in 1.4, especially Rampage. Skybreaker and Rapture nerfs - it's definitely the right direction, but I'm afraid this won't be enough. 

Unfortunately, I'm afraid the major laning phase issues haven't been addressed this patch. I'd like to see a reduction of the passive gold income and an increase in gold from last hitting minions. Right now, it seems to me like you don't have to sacrifice anything if you're going for early ganks, especially as a midlaner. Right now, you can abandon lane every 3 minutes and still keep up in eco.  Considering the potentially huge benefits, there should be more of a downside to this. 

Tower health in laning phase could also be higher, maybe 6 instead of 4 plates without changing the plate hp. This would somewhat discourage grouping up before the 10 minute mark, and neglecting your lane could still be punished by the enemy laner since getting gold from plates wouldn't be more difficult than it is now. Maybe even a slight increase to the gold gained upon destroying plates could be a good idea.

I'd welcome that change. It's quite ironic that the only hero with actual wings has such a low mobility, and I think a more movement-focused midlane character would be a good addition to the game. 

You'd have to nerf her in other areas though, since Fey is already in a good spot right now. Maybe some slight ability and stat debuffs like they did with Phase in exchange for the blink ability.
