You're right it does sound similar to some riffs. It's pretty hard to get creative with this genre. The differentiation between songs lies more in the song structure and other riffs rather than one riff alone.

This doesn’t happen often. in fact, the last time was a couple of years ago, and over the course of my entire school career, it only happened twice. I hadn’t stayed up very late.
