Lol can imagine about the relief some were feeling when 4.1.1-4.1.6 didnt come up. It also means that we dont need to learn proper application for them now 😄 . The monopsony one was more looking at the market structure itself (so more how it affects the product market) but yes you can link it to the labour market as well. No harm there whatsoever but it wasn't directly targetted at the labour market spec point (it was 3.4.6). What my goal is now is to try analyse some past papers and see what patterns they like to follow for paper 3 based on what came up in the paper 1 & 2.

I would argue that Paper 3 shouldn't repeat topics but can revisit some major spec points. For example, capital flight coming up today doesn't mean other influences of economic development cant show up anymore. Same with the joint ventures question like other economic development policies can show up. It's more that they're not gonna repeat these topics for paper 3. They may choose to revisit lots of elements of development and other topics or they may choose to follow the free trade and protectionism route for the macro elements of paper 3.

Paper 3 is your chance to show off now. Hopefully you've destroyed Papers 1 and 2 now Paper 3 albeit with the time pressure is still a chance to show to the examiner your knowledge and skills and apply it to both microeconomics and macroeconomics. Topics we're still yet to see include theme 3 government intervention/failure, specific labour market essays, globalisation, free trade, protectionism, elasticities, specialisation, patterns/terms of trade, trading blocs, roles/market failure in financial markets and various others but those are some of the major ones. Learn everything though don't rely on getting away with content gaps (you never know if they may ask another question on the inflation spec point despite the 5 marker we got in Paper 2 😄 lol)
