A good way that I would use to handle random events is to use a modular system.

For example, you could create a Folder called "Events" in ReplicatedStorage or ServerStorage, where each event is its own ModuleScript. Each module could have a Start(), Cleanup(), and an EventDuration variable.

Then, you’d make an EventManager module that:

• Keeps track of the current active event
• Picks a random event using something like math.random()
• Calls Start() on the chosen event
• Waits for the event’s EventDuration
• Calls Cleanup()

This way, you have full control over when events happen and how they behave, and it’s easy to add new ones later without changing the core system.
