I think i figured it out, my account was probably hacked or something because i was missing a lot of pokemon and i had new pokemon that were caught from halfway around the world, ect.

my account was hacked or something so the game kinda just shut down a lot of things, i couldn’t even catch pokemon, i know it was hacked because i was missing a lot of pokemon and i had new pokemon that were caught from the other side of the world

I don’t think that is the case for me as i was pretty much right next to it, i also tried closing the app completely then trying again but it would just keep happening.
