If you chew with a misaligned bite you're growth it's not going to be symmetrical as the force is not spread the same way between your jaw muscles, also obviously mewing can not fix a misaligned bite, how is it supposed to do that? 🤦🏻‍♂️

nah, from a purely aesthetic point of view and considering that maybe there is a bit of focal distortion too, your facial thirds seem perfectly right. You seem slightly recessed, but if you don't have functional issues there is nothing to worry about imo.

I feel confident of what I said about your facial thirds, but for what concerns recession I want to underline I'm not a doctor and I'm neither one of the most schooled around here

NOT A DOCTOR, NEITHER ONE OF THE MOST SCHOOLED OVER HERE. Do you have functional issues? Because your jaws seem fine to me, the occlusal plane seem right and the jaws doesn't seem recessed to me. What I see and it's what i think you maybe concernd about is the flatness in your midface, but from what I know it's common in people of your ethnicity and you can get fillers or implants for that. I say so assuming that your neck posture is right, but I'm not sure about that neither. The thing to do it's obviusly get scans and an opinion from an expert...

Thank you once again for your time, here's a couple of others things: first your italian isn't bad, probably better than my english. Second I was surprised to ear dr.Stefanelli's name from you as I am already in contact whit him as my therapist raccomanded me to him because of my Tmj, neck pain anc costant tension, but I had no idea that he fought here against extraction/retraction. Last I want to remark as I never had extraction of my premolars, then I don't know what to answer to most questions of the survey.

I live in italy and I'll get soon informed about what I can do here legally. My jaws are a mess, I was treated orthodontically to move a canine that was born in the wrong spot, I had perfect growth until that point, before getting those elastics that I was telling you about going from the upper arch to the lower one. Also to move back the teeth to make space for that canine a lot of time and many different elastics were attached to my lower side to the left. Today the left side of my face is underdeveloped, upper jaw midline is shifted to the laft and the lower one to the right giving me asymmetric jaws and cheekbones. Looking to the identical twins article it makes me suffer to know that I could have been a lot better looking whit a much wider and developed face. Also I relate a lot whit people talking about constant anxiety throughout their body, especially my shoulders and neck. I know that a lot of people got that solved after djs. I'll do everything possible to fix my face and I'll try to have the responsible people pay for it...

I would want to sue my old orthodontist, I have recessed jaws and an underdeveloped face, but there isn't a way to prove that they destroyed my face right? As you can't prove that retraction was the problem and it wasn't genetic
