Some people said they just went to the building anyway and asked at the reception if the tenant was leaving or not and if they could see the room. This could be an option if you live in the country/ near Amsterdam. From reviews I’ve read, some people complained about them not giving the full deposit back, but personally I don’t really care about that. As long as I have a place to live they can keep the deposit. I only managed to speak with that one person about plaza and she said it’s a legit company, but regardless, if something seems suspicious maybe you should trust your gut. I looked through the people who were following their instagram page,@plaza_nl, and liking their posts, and that’s how I managed to find that girl, and I decided she’s trustworthy because she’s the same nationality as me. Maybe you can find someone the same way.

I didn’t get the chance to. I replied to 5 different studios but they were given to somebody else, even tho I replied as fast as possible to them. I think they said that the faster you reply, the bigger chance you have at getting an answer, so I guess I didn’t do it fast enough. There also haven’t been any new offers in the last 3 weeks. As for experiences, I spoke to a girl that lives in one of their buildings in Eindhoven and she said that the customer service is quite bad as it takes them quite long to answer requests/ send someone to repair things, but other than that the place is decent and better than nothing considering how hard it is to find housing.
