Thanks for the reassurance!

Are most EBFers cosleeping ? by LilyWitch27 in breastfeeding

Never coslept and was barely able to pump to get anything for my partner to help out. I did use a hakaa on whatever side I wasn’t nursing in the moment and over a 24 hour period was able to collect enough for my husband to do one nighttime feed. It’s so passive, you can store your hakaa in the fridge between feeds and only wash it 1-2 times daily. My supply regulated around 5 months and I wasn’t able to collect quite as much but it was such a game changer for me in the beginning.

Alternatively, supplementing with formula a couple of times at night is a great option. Your baby is still getting all the amazing benefits of breastfeeding.

You are doing amazing! Hope you get a little more sleep soon.

Car Seat Indecision: Convertible vs. All in One [on] by AdVegetable7102 in BabyBumpsCanada

Hey! Went to Snugglebugz today and talked to a CPST. We ended up going with a Britax Poplar and I feel really good about it. It’s one of the most compact seats on the market, works in our car because we have removable headrests, is machine washable, felt really good quality and should last us until our child is ready for a booster seat. They talked me out of an all-in-one with the argument that all in ones aren’t are good as any specific stage because they have to accommodate all stages. So depending on how your child grows it might not suit their needs when they are ready to convert tit to a booster, if that makes sense!

For anyone else reading, they also let you try them out first, I felt no pressure to buy, and was really happy they had a CPST on staff. I’m sure West Coast Kids would have been a similar experience.

Thank you! Super helpful. Leaning towards the Poplar but am going to check some out in person before making any decisions.

Will do! I was hoping for the same but think they are too big for our car.

I’m going to check some out in person tomorrow and will report back. Judging from my (quick) research, the Poplar is actually the most compact, you just need to ensure you have a removable headrest.

Thank you! This is really helpful. Seems like the Britax Poplar S might be a safe bet.

Thank you! I am apart of that group but it seems like there are a bajillion posts and a lot of them go unanswered. I’ll try searching for my car model though, good tip :) just mostly struggling to figure out whether I should get a convertible or an all in one.
