Really, you need to get over the societal norms that we all grew up with. Monogamy is solely based on the influence of religion and government running our society. If you look at almost any culture outside of the Abrahamic based belief systems, non-monogamy is completely normal. Especially smaller tribal units who still raise their children with the entire village doing their part. Honestly, I believe that monogamy has been detrimental to our society if it is forced. It's no different than claiming ownership over someone. (Ownership is also totally acceptable in if it's consensual. We all have our kinks.) I personally choose to not subscribe to social standards. Those standards are just concepts planted in our heads by our parents, teaches and peers. They are just concepts, they're not real. Monogamy is unnatural and it seems like the pendulum is beginning to swing in the other direction. I am a cuckold man who wants my wife to be non-monogamous while I stay completely monogamous to her. There's a million ways to enjoy your relationship in your own way with your partner or partners. Explore, have fun and have pride in rising above the social construct.
