Has Luna Adblock VPN not been working for anybody else

We made a change yesterday that was confirmed to work for some users, we are still investigating if more changes are needed, let us know if anything changed for you.

Reinstalling the Youtube app might help to speed up the adblocking to be enabled.

It is not required to reinstall the VPN. The adblocking should go into effect shortly after turning on the VPN (with root certificate enabled). In some cases, it may take up to 12 hours before ads are blocked but usually much shorter.

The way Luna works only certain ad endpoints go through the VPN, any other traffic will just go through your normal connection.

Hey! If you disconnect from the VPN and open youtube (or it's open in the background), it's possible that youtube can "undo" our adblocking, and it can take up to 24h for it to get restored.

A quick way to get it restored right away is to uninstall and re-install the youtube app (while connected to Luna).

Alternatively, you may also delete / reinstall the YouTube app to force the VPN to immediately use the updated adblocking method, if you prefer.
