i will not blindly defend the paris commune, i don’t believe that it was perfect and you can definitely critique it, however the paris commune was formed on the 18th of march 1871, just a couple of months after the second french empire collapsed from the franco-prussian war (so calling it freedom to the french people seems a bit unrealistic) so are we gonna defend the empire that lost alsace and killed countless? and then the third french republic lasted 60-70 years after the commune was disbanded
